The pigment will loosen from the "hair" on the brushes.....will only work If you're using real brushes not those cheesy applicators that come with the Cover girl stuff. My mom was a makeup artist and she learned not to reuse the brushes and stuff like that. Use qtips instead or cotton swabs and then when you are done immediately throw it away. Anyway, you need to wash your brushes on a regular basis 'cause they start to getting oily.. use baby shampoo, warm water and let em air dry laying on a towel.. dont forget to do so evry 3 weeks at least, and store them properly so you dont add the dust to the natural oils and make up factors. It will leave less of the old color on the brush. Also, if you use the same brush all of the time, you will want to go ahead and wash it at least once a week to prevent clumbing in the brush and bacteria forming in the brush, too. The last thing you want is an infection in your eye!
