What is the best make up supplies?

I want to be a make-up artist and would like to do this as a occupation when I finish school (I’m 14).
Can anyone tell me what I need (brushes, make-up and brand name) to have the ultimate make-up kit?

Mac is expensive but largely known as the best make-up company. A cheaper alternative would be GOSH, ELF (Eyes Lips Face), basically any brand you can get in Boots or Superdrug. You need a lot of brushes for eyeshadow such as angle, fluffy, shader and blending brushes.

bobby browns books are a really great starting point, she is a really helpful guide and if you dont want to buy her products then you really dont have to because she helps overall with the applications and all… soo good luck!

What you need is a caboodle its like a box where it hold you’re makeup you will need this if you are going to be traveling. They come in numerous of sizes and some look like roller backpacks.
For supplys you would need brushes probably every single one cuz you will be doing certain looks.
You will need a brush cleaner to clean you’re brushes.
With brand makeup it’s not really about the brand as long as you know how to use it properly and know how to apply it.
Alot of artist like to use higher end brands like mac , bobby brown and etc…
but you can do alot also with drugstore makeup too..
As for me i mix it up i have a little but of everything.
    Always have lashes.
    different shades of foundation
eyeshadows neutral to dramatic, bright, bold dark light pretty much every shade so you clients have options to choose from.
Different shades of blushes and bronzers
    Translucent powders
tweezers for plucking or applying lashes or other small accesorys to face or body
Always have cards to hand out so if someone wants to hire you for a event you can just easily hand out a card with all of you’re info.
Always have a camera w hen you are doing a client’s makeup you always want to take a before and after and have it saved to you’re portfolio.
Good luck and hope some of this helped…
