What exactly are photoshop brush sets and vector art? I want to use some of them in my wedding invites.?
I’m not an advanced photoshop user, although I do have CS3. I need to know how to install the brush sets and then what to do with them

Select the brush and click on “Loadâ€.
New Brushes will show up in the brush list.
1-go to
http://inobscuro.com/brushes/page/3
2- downloud the brushes you want
3-unzip them all – take a copy of them all
4-open program file -adobe-photoshop-preset-brushes and paste
5- click icon of photoshop to open the program -now you can use the new brushes
On a mac brushes go in the brushes folder within the presets folder within the application folder, restart photoshop and away you go, I imagine it will be similar for a PC. A good resource for brushes is here

Vector art, although you can do it (to a degree) in Photoshop is the preserve of Adobe Illustrator and similar software, it does not rasterise as Photoshop does, one of the benefits of that is it can be blown up to just about any size with no loss of quality.
If you are doing you invitations in Photoshop to be printed you will need to work at 300dpi (at 100% of final size) minimum to get the best quality print. You cannot work at a lower resolution and then blow it up without loss of quality and save the files as tiffs or photoshop files, jpegs are a lossy format and will erode quality though only slightly.
