MAC has some very good ones.

Actually, what kind of fur is used for your brushes is the matter for better application and long lasting.

man made fur brush always get worn out quickly and make uneven or streaky application.

try to choose the range with natural mink fur they are more expensive but you will know the difference when you have switch to them.try one like eyeshadow brush first see how you feel.

Brushes intended for makeup is usually the best. You are going to pay the same price for a good quality paint brush as you would a good quality makeup brush. Generally, expensive makeup brushes are of good quality. They can run up to over $50.00 per brush. I suggest MAC makeup brushes and Japonesque brushes. (Yes, they are rather expensive)

I’ve heard the same too, and I don’t see why they wouldn’t work. Just buy natural bristle ones, not man made fibers. Good luck

some actually do use paint brushes – check out loew cornel from michael’s. or this video = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9lPfKzQAXE and he’s a makeup artist as well. i know people who do so as well. anyways, a lot of people will tell you to go and buy MAC brushes, yes they are the best and have a great range, but you should check out this site. this is the company that actually manufactures MAC, chanel, estee lauder and other top brand brushes so you are getting good quality at a GREAT price. i take you live in the US so the website to check out is http://www.crownbrushes.biz – u can get pink handled brushes, silver handed (called the backstage series) or if you really like the MAC brushes, get the studio brushes because they look just like them. i was even recommended the site by a makeup artist as well because she uses them and says they are just as good as her MAC. i’m placing an order myself so get cracking!!!! their is such a wide range of brushes, its hard to choose, although my favourite is the luna series. knock yourself out. the only bad reviews i have heard of this site (and it was from one person compared to the others) was something silly like she ordered a C-201 and they sent her a C-202. no biggie and their return policy is good. check out reviews on youtube if u still want to. but seriously, some brushes are $2.63 and made with real fibres and its sooo good….check it out.
