I want a good set that will last!! I don’t care about colors. Anything will do! But I do want a set of a lot. Not like a 5 or 10 brush set.

I understand that it is normal for cats to supplement their diet with grass to give extra minerals, etc. However, logically speaking, thus indicates a deficiency in the quality of the cat food. Otherwise she would not need to eat grass to make up the nutritional difference. It seems to me, therefore that it is “normal” for cats to eat grass because most cat food is of poor quality.

I used to cook for the cat on occasion: chicken, fish, etc. Her fur was shiny and she almost never had hairballs. She was in great health and almost never ate grass. But, lately, she’s started to get some gingivitis and stinky breath. This means thar homecooked food is out! We need to feed her crunchy food to keep her teeth clean.

I need nutritious cat food suggestions that work! Ideas?

(No, I’m not going to brush her teeth. She would take my hand off if I tried. And no, she doesn’t like kitty “treats” that clean her teeth.)

She is a pit terrier mix and has the short, coarse hair of a pit bull. The past couple of weeks she has been shedding so much. I’m not normally allergic to dog hair, but it’s been making my allergies pretty bad. It’s all over the house and on my bed. I bathe her on a weekly basis and purchased a firm brush and a shedding tool to help with the hair loss. She is on a proper diet, is healthy, and up to date on all her shots. So far, nothing has really worked. It’s only getting worse and I’m incredibly frustrated!! What should I do?

My clothes are a magnet for the fur of my white, long-haired Himalayan cat. Is there a better way to remove his fur? I’ve tried sticky rollers, vacuuming, and Helmac brushes, with little success. This cat is ruining all my sports fleece and “date night” clothes. He’s really making it hard to have a social/love life. That said, I adore the little pud and am not willing to give him up. Suggestions to do so won’t be helpful.

My daughter is 16 months and has 8 teeth and one molar popping in as of today. Like many, her father and I have neglected to see a dentist for a few years now, but we are good about keeping up the basics (brushing twice daily, flossing regularly, gargling, tongue scraping, etc) and I personally make sure she brushes her 8 teeth and the rest of her mouth daily.

I would like for all of us to go in at the same time, so if we have to put it off for a few more months to coincide with her first appt, my hubby and I will do so.

I’ve tried shampooing them (read it in a magazine) but it just made the hairs fall out, and i dipped them in Dettol before but I didn’t feel that they were that clean. What’s a simple, easy, effective way to kill the germs without damaging the brush (they are estee lauder and were kind of expensive)?

This seems to be the time of the year where my cat leaves enough hair to make an extra cat behind when he gets up from any furniture. I have bought all sorts of brushes to try to keep it under control but nothing works. Has anyone used any brand that worked real well?

What’s the best way to keep clothes looking new everyday? Sometimes a day or two after I buy and wear a shirt, I find a small hole or cut on it. Maybe even oil stains on it after countless washes.

I examine clothes before I buy anything all the time, making sure there are already no stains or small cuts, etc. {I mostly wear clothing that consists of cotton}.

In a normal day for me, [reguarding this summer vacation time], I just wake up, morning routine [shower, brush teeth, etc], have breakfast sometimes and go places like the mall or movies or something like that.

I never get near anything that could do some damage to clothing like if a tree twig gets caught and rips the collar off of something.

Nah, anyway, what’s the best way to keep clothes in good shape?

Or a normal triangle make-up sponge?
