Make-up help? Powder v. Foundation?

I just started really getting into make-up. I know all about eye make up but foundation and stuff baffles me. I bought a brush set and there is one brush for powder and one for foundation. I have–what i think is–a powder foundation. I usually use the foundation brush to apply it, today I used the powder brush and it came out FREAKIN AMAZING! But I still want to know what the difference is and if I might need to change my routine.

Does anyone know of any good eyebrow make up? What method is best? A stencil?, pencil colour?, or using powder

Or one of those compacts with has gel, colour and a brush? I have mousy blonde hair and pale ish skin. Thanks. I would prefer a mineral brand but I will use anything if it works.

Does it matter that I use my powder brush for applying blusher and bronzer as well?

I use my big powder brush to get my pressed powder to set my foundation but I then use the same brush for using my blusher/bronzer straight afterwards. I think that make up brushes are over priced and as my powder brush applies my blusher perfectly well, I’ve never seen the need to purchase a slightly smaller sized brushed to apply it with. What do you think?

How to Apply Mineral Powder Blush and Bronzer

www.thecosmeticscampus.com – Internet Cosmetics Coach Lisa Liddiard shares her tips and training about the best way to apply mineral makeup blush and bronzer to give the face soft highlights and color. One of my favorite products in mineral makeup is the powder bronzer. Bronzers shouldn’t be yellow or turn your skin an unnatural color. You only need a little bit and that’s how I teach you in this video. Bronzer is meant to give you a little extra color or warmth to your skin. Just apply in to the places the sun would hit if you were outside. Forehead, bridge of nose, chin, and the cheek bones. Meaning, put just a bit from the hairline to where the apple of your cheek starts. Right under the check bone. That gives you a chiseled look and gives you the appearance of being thin, and we all love that. When it’s time to apply your blush, just add a tiny bit to the apple of your cheek. That’s the round fatty part of your cheek closet to your nose. The blush color you choose should be the color that matches what your face looks like when you really blush. Don’t be afraid to use your mineral bronzer and blushes as eye and lip colors too. Mix and match. You can do that with mineral makeup and it’s fun and easy.
