im blonde and have blue eyes.im starting to get more into makeup and all that and im having trouble picking the right style if u will.especially with the eye area.im not sure whats going to look best and wat color to use and how to apply it.there r so many ways it is hard to find the right one!!

I have a big brush for powder and a smaller one for blush, I have had them for about 4 years. I do wash them occasionally to keep them clean. I have to admit though I am lazy and don’t wash them as much as I should.
I bought new ones today.
But I still wondered about this.
How about you?

So, i’m new to the make up game.

Ok. So my prom is saturday and i have a short dress…the only problem is that i have to show my legs and i have some mild mosquito bite marks from when i went on vacation to the carribean….and today i was suppose to go and buy a leg airbrush thing to cover them called air stockings…but the stores i call said they didnt have them…the sally hansen air brush legs would work except it doesnt last as long as the air stockings. and it runs.and i really need to go get something tomorrow to hide it…what product can i buy that will cover my dark spots..and would last long and easy to apply…plzz help…my skin tone is chocolate african american…best answer 10 points and more…

I put it on in the morning before i go to school. I apply it at about half 7 am.
I wash my face,
Put on the foundation using my fingers,
Put on powder with a powder brush,
Put on some black eyeliner,
Put on black mascara,
After a couple of hours my face is really shiny and looks horrible,
what can i do to stop this rather than just applying lots more powder, because that ends up turning my face orange.

By the way, i use the Miss Sporty collection at Superdrug.!

how can i stop it doing this?
what brand is best?

Tips:
Instead of wearing eyeliner: use 2 coats of mascara to lower lashes, gives that appearance of eyeliner.
Use lightest shade from lashline to browline, then darker shade from lashline to crease, then darker shade across lashline and sweep through crease of eye, blend, this will give almost a smokey eye appearance. Line with wet eyeliner brush last color across lashline.
If you have light hair – use brown/black mascara
If you have dark hair – use black mascara

Best ever product:
Concealer Pencil/Brush
Why: it has salicylic acid and tea tree oil to clear blemishes and reduce scarring.

Always use a lipgloss (most important things in your purse…lipgloss, concealer stick, mascara)

i’m going on a huge make up splurge, and i’m buying pretty much al the essential make up, because most of my make up is boring.
i need to know what the best:
-mascara is
-eyeliner for brown eyes
-eyeshadow for brown eyes
-foundation for light, but slightly tanned skin
-powder
-face wash/cleaners
-blush
-blush brush/eye shadow brush, etc

i know that’a lot, but i just want to know what you guys use, and what you think is the best. i want a foundation that won’t cause my face to break out, and i don’t like wearing my eye makeup really dark, but i do like wearing some.

as of right now, i use pretty much everything Clinique…..except for my mascara and eyeshadow.

For those of you who are very good with make-up and preferably sephora shoppers. I am thinking about getting some new brushes. What are some essential, everyday brushes? (ex: concealer brush, bronzer brush, fan brush, etc.) And if you know any preferred brushes, could you give me the link or the brand to go with to buy the brush?

what kind of eye-make-up should i wear if i have dark brown eyes, w/ some green specks? is a medium purple good? or should i go metalic colors? if so, where do i get them really cheep and what brand?

is creamy or liquid foundation good? how do you find out what color you are? i change skin colors. tan in the summer and pale in the winter.

what make-up goes good w/ straight, dark brown hair that’s about 2 inches past my shoulders?

i have contacts. is it a bad idea to wear eyeliner on the rim of my eye where it meets w/ my eye? how do you put eyeliner on the top lid and still make it look good, but not to thick?
