So, I want to start covering up my dark spots. I’ve always tried, but I can never make it look natural. I’ve heard that mineral make-up is the best overall, so i wanted to get Bare Escentuals, but i don’t think I can afford to keep using it more than once. I’ve read that these other brands work as well or even better than BE but i’m not exactly sure which to get. Which do you think is the best? Which is best for the price? Which should I eliminate from my list? By the way, I’m thinking about getting the BE brushes, even if I get a different make-up, because I’ve read that they work best, do they?

Right now I am using bare escentials which works great and I love it! I have the bronzer too. I’m running out of foundation and thinking of buying more soon but I was at Kohl’s recently and they have an awesome makeup selection there. You can’t buy there makeup anywhere else unless you order it but then you have to pay for shipping and handling. I was thinking of trying there foundation which is like mine (crushed up mineral foundation) and called American Express. Its the same price that I pay for my foundation $25 except there’s comes with a little brush for the foundation which I kinda need because I think it costs like $30 just to buy a good makeup brush! I need a good mineral foundation because I have eczema on my face and a lot of cheaper foundations will make my skin flare up and get rashy looking. Any thing with fragrance in it is an automatic no because that will irritate my skin and make it flare. So my question is which mineral foundation do you think looks the best?

I’m a long time Mary Kay user but I’ve looked into, but not actually used, Bare Minerals, Simply Minerals, Physicains Formula and Sheer Cover. Out of those I’d seriously considered Simply Minerals.

But I got to looking in a magazine last night at all the ads for mineral make up. I’ve notice pretty much everyone has a mineral make-up. L’oreal, Covergirl, Neutrogena, and I’m sure I’m missing someone elses. The point is out of these three which is the best. What have you used? Why do you like it so much better then the rest?

Plus I’ve noticed that everyone is talking about the Kabuki brush. What is it? And what makes it better then just the average brush?

And last question . .. What is Talc? I’ve heard a lot of people talk about it and when I looked it up I read a lot about how it maybe linked to being a cause for cancer. Is that true?

Which brand of kabuki or powder brush is good for applying mineral make up and doesnt shed easily?

I recently bought some mineral make-up, but the brush it came with is awful. It looks like a cakey-mess. I used a smaller brush I have and it worked better, but I’m wondering if there is a great brush out there that is soft and evenly distributes? I usually shop at Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS.
