I was reading this web site and it said that make up brushes are made with animal fur. I always just assumed they were made with synthetic fibres. Are they really made with animal fur, or is this website just trying to sell me an over priced make up brush $50 seems a bit steep for a brush??? http://www.choosecrueltyfree.org.au/

How I clean my make up brushes and what I use to do it. Cheap, easy, and effective. Ingredients: Water; 1 cup alcohol; 1/4 cup baby shampoo; 1 tablespoon I obviously used less for my video, but I was just making a small bit for the tutorial.

I went to buy a set of make up brushes. I found out that most of department stores (Clinic, CK, L’oreal, Mac, etc,, ) only sell brushes with animal hair. -mostly goat hair and camel hair. I then went to Walmart to buy some and they only had one type of brush.

For the people that do not understand this, imagine picking up a dead dog and wiping his butt on your face to apply lipstick! – Gross!

My friend is a vegitarian, but absolutely loves MAC make up. I heard MAC makes some of their brushes from squirrel and possibly other small animals.
