I’m planning on buying a whole set of make-up brushes from MAC soon and was wondering if they last a long time because they’re really expensive and just hope it’s worth it

How to apply makeup from foundation to whatever the last step to applying make up is??

I don’t know how to apply it! I wanna go for a smokey punkish gothy look. And how do you make it last? I have oily skin. And the pencil eyeliner smudges down within 4 hours… HELP
