HELP!! Make-up advice?!?

So I’m getting ready to order Mineral Veil, http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml;jsessionid=SG40EDLPOIHIACV0KRRQQAQ?id=P253810&categoryId=B70 to apply over my liquid foundation to sort of “settle” the foundation in. My question is, since the Mineral Veil is a loose powder..would I get better results if I applied Mac’s fix+, http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/177/388/Fix/index.tmpl on top of the Mineral Veil? Or would that be too much to have foundation, Mineral Veil PLUS Mac fix+? I have the beautyblender to blend in the foundation and a powder brush for the Veil..but I need thoughts on the fix+? I want the absolute best results possible – thanks girls!! xo

I need some help with my make up?

I put it on in the morning before i go to school. I apply it at about half 7 am.
I wash my face,
Put on the foundation using my fingers,
Put on powder with a powder brush,
Put on some black eyeliner,
Put on black mascara,
After a couple of hours my face is really shiny and looks horrible,
what can i do to stop this rather than just applying lots more powder, because that ends up turning my face orange.

By the way, i use the Miss Sporty collection at Superdrug.!

Please help me,
am i wearing it wrong?
how can i stop it doing this?
what brand is best?
please give me lots of information xx

My best friend: The pimp. Help?

My best friend is a guy. He had a girlfriend 6 months ago, they were dating for a year and half. I think he’s deprived of physical contact.

He’s always with the girls. He never used to do this before. But he has his arms around the waists and on the hips of multiple girls within short amounts of time. That’s usually not a problem, but he does it in a way that looks intimate. I can’t approach him with this either…he always thinks I’m jealous (idiot -.- lol ew). It’s just gross the way he does it, if you know what I mean. Stands too close and touches where he probably shouldn’t be.

Getting a girlfriend would help….But he’s got no chance of that at the moment. Why do you think his last relationship didn’t last? He’s kinda lost a lot of the maturity he used to have. I can’t help him and he won’t listen to me about it.

He’s really….gross…please understand I’m not being overprotective or jealous or anything….it is actually a seriously wrong all over the girls thing. He doesn’t even know this chics very well.

I’m not the only one who thinks this of him. Some of the guys and girls agree with me, he’s overdoing it a good stretch.

How can I help him without making him brush me off or make up excuses or offend him? He gets so ignorant.

Help!
Yeah, um…Please, no one tell me to just ditch him..unless I’m allowed to come back, lol. I’m not like that, ok? I stand by my friend no matter what. I want to help him.

What kind of brush is best to apply liquid foundation with? Can you help me out?

I’m not asking for the model number of a MAC brush or anything, but if you’d like to mention which model brush you use that’s fine, I’m asking specifically what KIND of brush you prefer though.

I’ve been told a foundation brush is best, and then I’ve been told a stippling brush is, and some people have even said that they prefer a blush brush. Of coarse there are different preferences, but I want to try something new and I don’t know which one I should get for it.

What do you prefer and why?

I forgot to mention that make up likes to cake up on the dry parts of my skin, so I need the best brush to help prevent that if it’s possible.

make up help powder foundation?

So i use to use liquid foundation a lot and my skin always looked so smooth when i wore it on. But because of liquid foundation i got really bad acne so i havent worn make up for like 3 months now. My acne has gotten a lot better because i get facials. Next month i am planning on wearing mineral foundation which is like a powder type. I kind of have a problem with that i dont know how to wear it. I have never used pressed powder or any type of powder so it looks really ugly on me.

So my question is how do i make the powder foundation look as smooth as if i was using liquid foundation. Please give me advice on what you do and what will help

- i also have very oily skin and after i wash my face i always use oil-free moisturizer. I have tried going to sepphora (i hope i spelled it right) for help but they didnt really help me much. I also use a brush to apply the press powder but that didnt work out to well.

please give me help and no rude comments please. Thank you very much i will choose the best answer at the end.

foundation, powder? make up help!?

Some people I know that wear foundation rub it in and theyre done. Leave the house, get on with the day. No powder, maybe a little blush, but thats it! I can never do this! I feel sticky if you like and that if I touch my face it will all just come right off.

Normally, I use a compact, put a little of that on, then with a sponge apply a little foundation, wait for it to dry then brush a little baby powder over it ( a LITTLE) so Im not white, but so I dont feel like my face is sticky. and that I can touch it without rubbing off my make up.

I realise using baby powder isnt the best way to go about it, but Ive tried a few powders which were just rubbish.

Can anyone recommend a good powder, alternative, anything!?? What are you supposed to use over foundation?

Any tips or advice is much appreciated, thanks!

make up help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!?

Okay so my 13 year old sister is sick of her daily make up routine, she wants to try something new. Shes usually used to wearing eye liner on the bottom, and mascara. tHATS IT ! we need something easy and fast. She doesnt wear any cover up, blush etc. her cheeks are naturally pink and she has a very light skin tone. We want to try using some eye shadow, we have the brushes, and were able to go out and buy whichever we think will suit her best, we just need your advice. Im no make up expert but what do you think will be best for her? if theres a certain tutorial you’ve watched online that’d be great, or if you give us names on what to buy at drug stores, or sephora thats great too (: Well please and thank you !

P.S her eyes are kinda small ..
Also does anyone know if theyre still selling the costco brushes here in CA ?

Best foundation? Please help!!?

I have mild acne, and scars. I have tried many drug store foundations which never really did it for me. I have tried clinique, I went to Macy’s and a lady matched me with a Clinique product which she thought would be best for me. She put it on me and I looked at myself and thought my skin looked great so I bought it and a make up brush. But, then I went outside and looked in the mirror and I looked horrible. There was way too much foundation on my skin and you could literally see brush strokes all over my face. So, then I tried perscriptives, which I loved!!!!!!!!! The lady found my perfect color and it covered great without be noticeable. But, I ran out a day ago and I just found out they are going out of business!! The only way I can buy is online, but my skin is alot lighter since the winter time so I don’t want to have to guess my color and it not be right.

So anyway, my question is:
What is the best liquid foundation (drugstore or department store) that is good for coverage and dry skin?
