This request is for whole face make up not just eye make up. Please include utensils needed.

I want my make-up to look flawless, who doesn’t. But everytime I apply my make-up I find myself looking in the mirror with a face of discontentment. It never looks right. I’ve tried nearly every brand of cosmetics there is and my foundation still looks like crap. Can anybody recommend some useful tips for me. I’m looking for a foundation with very good coverage (I have really bad skin), and not too expensive either as I am on a low budget due to the recession. Also tell me if there are any specific make-up brushes I could use.
Please will you help me as I have a graduation ball coming up and I want to look my very best for my boyfriend.

Hi! My mom really wants to look like Reese Witherspoon and I’m kind of like her “personal make up and hair artist.” She has the same hair as Reese but how can I do her make up so that it’s that “smoky,” eye and other make up that Reese has? I don’t have the money to go out and buy several new brushes and make up so just simple stuff blended together would be best! Thanks so much!

Like i said i was starting to wear make-up so can anyone give me some advice on what type or brand i should wear and how to wear it .

for foundation im looking to wear liquid foundation and some pressed powered to make it look natural what’s best ? please give me advice .

for mascara i want my lashes to look long but not taking the mick .please give advice

for eye-pencil im looking for a good make please give advice

and also a good concealer .i don’t get many spots about 4-7 a month but when i do get them they come bad

and also i know its allot to ask but you could just answer 1 of my questions it would be a great help
but could you also tell me what kind of things i should use to but on the foundation blush concealer like brushes ,sponges etc ..

Before I start, I just want to say I don’t smear black all over my eyes. That looks trashy, not gothic.

Anyway, I like to do my makeup very vintage and pinup, but still keep it gothic. Can you give me some more tips, please?

I have a daughter who has picked up on my using make-up. She sees me apply it in the mirror and has become curious. She likes to pick up my brushes and pretend she’s putting stuff on her face too.

I have thought about getting her her own little make believe “make-up” set so that she’ll leave my stuff alone, and so she’ll feel like she’s participating with mommy when I’m doing my face. But there’s also a part of me who feels like I don’t want her to even THINK about make-up at such a young age, or start to have any feelings about how she is supposed to look tied up to her self-esteem. I’m pretty conscious about that type of stuff. I use make-up because I have terrible skin, and it just makes me feel a little better. I don’t want my daughter to see any of my insecurities though because I don’t want her growing up with a bad body image, so when she asks me what I’m doing I simply say “I’m putting on make-up” instead of something about “getting pretty”.

I do like to encourage her pretend play, but now I’m thinking that maybe I won’t get her pretend make-up for the above reasons. Or am I thinking too much about it?
