Hey, I’ve been getting interested in using mineral make up. I’ve always used liquid and I heard that this Everyday Minerals is all the hype so I want to try it. I understand that there is a free sample kit and yes I will take advantage of that but I would like to see if someone could give me a good place to start my selecting. I have Asian skin so I have a yellow undertone. I am a NC25 in MAC Studio Fix.
Also, I don’t have a brush, and I heard that the samples don’t come with brushes so how am I going to try the samples? Any ideas?
I was hoping to order a brush after choosing my right color and order my brushes with one of the custom kits.

So, I want to start covering up my dark spots. I’ve always tried, but I can never make it look natural. I’ve heard that mineral make-up is the best overall, so i wanted to get Bare Escentuals, but i don’t think I can afford to keep using it more than once. I’ve read that these other brands work as well or even better than BE but i’m not exactly sure which to get. Which do you think is the best? Which is best for the price? Which should I eliminate from my list? By the way, I’m thinking about getting the BE brushes, even if I get a different make-up, because I’ve read that they work best, do they?

I got my sample from Everday Minerals the other day and really liked it. I think the key to getting the best coverage will come from getting proper brushes for mineral make-up applications. However, I needed help with colors other than the foundation/concealer.
Is there anyone who has USED E.M. and has favorites in the “coloring dept”?? I use the med. int. concealer and the med. beige nuet. foundation. I have blue eyes and brown hair…pretty run of the mill and I’d like to keep the make-up natural. I tried the bouquet blush and think it’ll work. I’m going to, however, try one more sample kit but, try the foundation that’s more natural—the kind for normal to dry skin—instead of the semi-matte, which is what I chose for my samples. Well, I’ll quit blabbing now.

Oh yeah, I think I want to get their “natural” lip color—it isn’t too brown is it?? The “plum” color isn’t too bright is it??

I know they are both mineral cosmetics but which is better in foundation, concealer, blush, eyeshadow, brushes etc.

Whenever I do my makeup I always get nervous when I start doing my eyes. I’m worried it will make my eyes look dull or smaller. I really need a way to do eye makeup for my asian brown eyes. Thanks
