The brushes seem so expensive!

Right now I just use my hand to smudge, are brushes really worth the investment money?
And can you recommend some brushes or decent price company?

I want a good set that will last!! I don’t care about colors. Anything will do! But I do want a set of a lot. Not like a 5 or 10 brush set.

The large ones, blush brushes

I accidently dropped the brush to my physician’s formula face powder in my bathroom sink, which is kinda dirty. I was wondering if it is safe to wash it in the washing machine. I’m worried that the residue left from detergent from the last laundry load would irritate my skin.
Would that happen?

I’ve read a couple of ways to clean them but I just want to know if any one has done it before and how ?
Does the brush stay soft after you clean it?

I have a foundation brush and a powder brush, should i wash them after i use them?

Or atleast comparable?
What are the pros and cons of these brushes?

Using a spray bottle. Witch hazel? Alcohol? Water?

I cant wash them cuz they are made og real hair and water will apparently damage them.
