This is a brush guide for those of you curious about what brushes to start off with it you are new to makeup. Keep in mind these are what work for me and I encourage you to find what works for you. All MAC brushes can be found at MAC stores, counters and online. Crown Brushes and Afterglow can be found online as well. The afterglow brushes were sent for consideration a while back, and I ended up using them regularly for my personal makeup application. The Crown brushes were provided for live demos which I taught for. This does not change my opinion of the products and chose these particular brushes because I believe the quality is very good. I purchased the MAC brushes on my own and have enjoyed their quality. They are very sturdy, and well-crafted brushes. I am not paid for this video and the purpose of this guide is to help my viewers become more familiar with the different types of brushes. I know buying brushes can be overwhelming and confusing but I hope this video helps to make the process a little less scary.

You don’t have to use expensive brushes to create fabulous makeup looks. Even though I own many MAC products – I do not have any MAC brushes! Nothing against them and not to say I won’t get any in the future but you have options! Enjoy!

I’ve always wondered why certain brushes have numbers on them. Like the ones from mac. Whats the difference? Do certain brushes, do certain things? Like I know the smudge brush, helps smudges your eyeliner. But what about the rest of the brushes? Answer only if you have some knowledge about my question. Please and thanks. :]
