Everyday Minerals—best shade for Asian skin?

Hey, I’ve been getting interested in using mineral make up. I’ve always used liquid and I heard that this Everyday Minerals is all the hype so I want to try it. I understand that there is a free sample kit and yes I will take advantage of that but I would like to see if someone could give me a good place to start my selecting. I have Asian skin so I have a yellow undertone. I am a NC25 in MAC Studio Fix.
Also, I don’t have a brush, and I heard that the samples don’t come with brushes so how am I going to try the samples? Any ideas?
I was hoping to order a brush after choosing my right color and order my brushes with one of the custom kits.

How does an Asian apply makeup?

I have a problem, I do not know how to wear makeup (and I’m 20 years old to make it worse)

The problem being, I do not have a double eye lid, I have a single. For those of you who don’t know what that is, when your eye is open there is usually a crease where your eyelid folds back, I do not have that. When I open and close my eye I don’t get that crease. When I see makeup applied it usually co-inacts with that double eyelid, since I do not have that, I can’t seem to get any kind of look and the makeup always looks uneven. I can’t find anyone who knows how to help me with this our how to apply makeup to someone with a single eyelid.

Any help?

How to apply makeup for asian skin tones?

I want to keep it fresh and natural, but flawless-looking and airbrushed.
I have high cheekbones, an oval face, almond eyes (not stereotypical asian eyes, but like Kristin Kreuk’s), and high cheekbones. My skin is like translucent, so there’s already coloring in my cheeks. And my skin is, well, Asian skin. Kinda beige. Any makeup tips to look airbrushed (like the models) but not fake? Thanks.
