[PICS] Which brush set should I get?

I’m taking a make up workshop in a few months, and which make up brush kit should I get? These brushes are extremely popular here in my country. I’m 16 and my mom gave me enough money for the 16 pcs set, but if I get the 12 pcs I’ll have extra money for something else.

I’ve worked with MAC brushes all my life and all you really need I found are the following:
-Foundation brush
–>Paddle brush for liquid and a soft hair for gel/powder
-Contouring brush
-Blush brush x2
-Shadowing brush x3
-Angled shadow brush x3
-Blending brush x3
-Angle brush
the x2/x3 is simply if you don’t clean your brushes everyday and you don’t want to cross colors. MAC brushes are not necessary, however, when buying brushes it is really important to by REAL HAIR brushes. MAC happens to be long lasting but you will end up paying more than $500 for the full set.
I would go with the 12 pc, and I do agree to some extent with the other poster – there are brushes that you will seldom use, and the ones you do use may not last as long as you’d like. Take it from me, I have bought art brushes, cheap brushes, dupes, etc. and with all the money I have spent on brushes that just don’t last as long I could have purchased the full set of MAC which IS known for quality. Since having my light bulb moment, I have purchased only the MAC brushes that I KNOW I need, rather than making it my mission to collect them all. If you want to buy something that’s more affordable than I’d go with SIGMA, a lot of people have said that they’re comparable to MAC brushes, and are good quality.
