Best eyeshadows are MAC, Sephora, MakeUp Forever, Coastal Scents and Beauties Factory. Their eyeshadows last long. As for makeup brushes, since you’re just starting, buy Sephora’s brush set. The price range depends on what set you get.

i really like sephora’s eye shadow, i was online earlier and sephora has a list called top rated products and there are a of items eye shadow listed and reviews as to why they are ranked so high, by each person who ranked it.. you should check that out..
Sephora makeup is great, but to start out you should probably try a few of the cheaper brands so you know what colors look good on you and to see if you are allergic to any of the brands. Wal-Mart has alot of cheap makeup you could dabble in.
