Thanks for posting this. My brushes get so dirty but I only ever wash them with gentle shampoo and it never seems to get the makeup out.
lovely video. You can get perfect makeup from MAC to test before you buy. I got the latest maybelline mascara from “gratis makeup samples”.
How long will it take a brush after cleaning like this to dry out?
I want to try the olive oil step, that looks interesting. The only thing I wanted to comment about was this – I have had MAC brushes (and other brands) for almost 15 years that have been cleaned repeatedly, and the entire brush submerged in water. I have never seen rust, they have never loosened up and they are as good as ever. You really don’t need to be that concerned with a little water on the handle, as long as you let them dry out thoroughly.
Wow, My brushes have become pretty minging and I wanted a cheap and easy way to clean them and this has helped me so much. When I go shopping tomorrow I am deffo going to pick up this stuff. There is no excuse for brushes to get so gross so this has helped drastically thank you so much bye bye manky grossness hello cleanness lol

Where does everyone else get their makeup? I tend to get samples for free from ‘gratis makeup samples’, just got some perfect MAC makeup recently.
