How should i teach my cuz to apply makeup?

My little cousin came up to me one day and asked me to show her how to apply makeup. She’s going into 7th grade and i’m wondering how i should get her started and what i should show her.

Id start with basics. like eyelash curling, eyeshadow application and using eyeliner.
show her videos online that you think are cute, youtube has A LOT of makeup videos. Make sure you tell her to keep it natural. Show her how to apply foundation but tell her not to use it if she doesn’t need it. Show her how to LIGHTLY apply a blush that suits her color, how to properly & lightly apply eyeshadow, how to use eyeliner, and how to put on mascara
basically teach her all you know but tell her some things aren’t necessary & less makeup is best
well u want to keep it simple and natural:
natural colors (brown and pink)
glittery blush or eyeshadow
mascara
lip gloss
You don’t want her to get to grown to early, so just maybe the basic stuff like eyeshadow, and lipgloss, Maybe even a little mascara.
Start with the natural colors, shes just in 7th grade after all :] prevent her from the tragedy that is caked on makeup. Teach her ways to make her eyes ‘pop’, some lip-gloss (not so glossy and sticky) and shes ready to go :3 good luck!

easy and fast to learn
if she has blemishes show her how to apply concealer
then how to apply mascara
then shadow
eye liner
blush or bonzer (if she wants to)
lip gloss
ask her what she wants to learn
and you can tll her wha worked for you and what didnt

well, you could basically like ask her what kind of makeup she wants to wear, and help her find different tutorials online for similar looks. Or you could do her makeup on one side of her face, and then be like “is this something you’d liek to learn”, and if yes just show her on your face how to do it and let her take the brushes and the makeup and let her try applying it herself. I mean, you can watch as many tutorials as you want, but watching someone else apply makeup won’t help whatsoever in your own ability to apply makeup properly
