bare minerals is a really great line. their foundation is ideal for acne prone skin or sensitive skin since it doesnt contain any extra chemicals or preservatives.
Sephora makes pretty good brushes, but I still like the MAC makeup brushes the best.

    1. best foundation is Prescriptives
    2. best tonic (toner?) is Clinique
    3. best brush sets are Prescriptives or in Sephora

Hope you have fun makeup shopping; always cheers me up.

I have to say that the best foundation that I’ve used is that Bare Minerals stuff. It controls shine like no other and it feels like you don’t have anything on your face. I will never go back to liquid foundation. It covers really good and if you get a kit for around $60, you get 3 brushes, 2 foundations, the warmth bronzer type stuff, a moisturizer, and mineral veil.
I agree about the MAC foundation. It kind of felt like it was sliding off of my face~I love the rest of their products like the eyeshadow and lipglass. Good luck with that shopping!

alot depends on your age. certain products are geared toward the age of your skin. However, with that said…I like Prescriptives Traceless foundation, although they make a few other good ones too. I like a light, sheer finish and don’t like anything to heavy. It is pricey. I also like Estee Lauders Futurist. You also asked for addl’ tips, so i’ll give you this one. after applying foundation, for a beautiful glow, dab a little bit of Magic (from Prescriptives) on the apples of your cheeks. Mac also makes something similiar called Strobe Cream.
