NOTE: If you have the Beauty SO Clean product as well, I suggest spraying that once onto the mascara wand before placing it back into the tube, or if you have the Beauty SO Clean wipes I suggest wiping off the mascara brush after the hot water cleaning before putting it back into the tube. Why do this?: The clumps of blackness on your mascara brush are the dead skin cells from every time you apply the mascara to your eye lashes, and it builds up and layers at the bottom of the tube. You are not losing any usable product you are getting rid of the bacteria ridden, dry, clumpy build up that prevents your mascara from going on smoothly and getting rid of the bacteria that has the potential to transfer into your eyes. Anything that touches your face should be washed and/or sterilized. Things that we wouldn’t normally think about.
